The 27 intermediate leadership course and leadership training staff visited Hisham Archaeological Palace in Jericho, where they were received by the Directorate of Tourism and Antiquities.
The visit began with a short documentary about the history of the Palace, followed by a field tour inside its facilities accompanied by a tourist guide from the Ministry of Tourism, which provided a detailed explanation of the Palace's landmarks and uses throughout the ages.
At the end of the tour, participants carried out two hours of volunteering work within the palace, including cleaning corridors, trees pruning, grassing cleaning and removing tailings, in a spirit of community responsibility and preserving heritage sites.
