GMTC participated in an interactive session organized by the governorate of Jericho and Jordan valley entitled "The role of Palestinian women in promoting family ties and achieving balance within society" on the occasion of International Women's Day and rites of the holy month of Ramadan.
The session featured a distinguished presence from the female staff of GMTC providing interventions that influenced the debate on the importance of Palestinian women's role in supporting family stability and promoting the values of social cohesion.
The Governor of Jericho and Jordan Valley Dr. Hussein Hamayel praised the role of Palestinian women in various fields, stressing that women are not only partners in the family, but are key partners in national and community action. Confirmed that Women's empowerment and enhanced participation in decision-making contributed to inclusive community development.
