Palestinian student Mazen Abdullah, on scholarship from GMTC to study at the Military Communications Academy in Russia as part of the Foreign Colleges and Institutes Program, achieved a remarkable feat by winning second place in a Russian-language poetry competition. The competition featured over 40 international students representing 30 different countries.
This achievement followed a distinguished performance in which the Palestinian student presented a poem in Russian, showcasing his creativity, cultural and academic excellence, and fluency in the Russian language.
At the conclusion of the competition, the academy administration honored Abdullah with a medal and a certificate of appreciation signed by the Dean of the Academy, Lieutenant General /Gennady Anatolyevich Toshin, in recognition of his outstanding performance
