Staff Major General /Mahmoud Haroun, Head of GMTC , and his deputy, Brigadier General /Bassam Al-Jerbi, participated in the handover ceremony for a Civil Defense vehicle which developed through a collaboration between Al-Istiqlal University and engineers from Palestine Technical University – Khodori.
The ceremony was attended by Major General/ Akram Thawabteh, Director General of Civil Defense, and Professor/ Nour El-Din Abu Al-Rub, Head of the University, along with a number of other officials and dignitaries.
During the event, attendees emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between academic institutions and security agencies, which contributes to developing national capabilities and supporting engineering and technological innovation in field operations
