GMTC continued implementing the activities of the third day of the first summer camp, “Martyrs of National Duty – Protecting the Homeland,” dedicated to the children of security personnel. This camp is part of GMTC's programs aimed at developing participants' abilities, refining their personalities, and strengthening their sense of belonging and national loyalty.
The day's activities began with a morning program that included physical fitness exercises, hygiene and general knowledge activities, as well as marching drills and military salutes, all contributing to instilling values of discipline, commitment, and teamwork among the participants.
On the awareness side, the Palestinian Civil Defense team conducted a training lecture on how to deal with fires and the necessary preventative measures to follow in emergencies. Participants learned basic firefighting techniques and proper procedures for maintaining public safety.
The program also included a visit to Hisham's Palace, where participants learned about the most prominent historical and cultural landmarks in Palestine, in a step aimed at enhancing their awareness of national heritage and strengthening their cultural identity. The day's activities concluded with an awareness lecture delivered by the shooting range staff, aimed at promoting a culture of safety and security and instilling the values of discipline and commitment among the participants.
GMTC affirmed that the camp aligns with its vision of building a conscious and educated generation, committed to its national values and capable of shouldering responsibility and serving its country and community, through integrated programs that combine training, education, recreation, and national awareness.
