The second summer camp, "Martyrs of National Duty – Protecting the Homeland," organized by GMTC for the children of security personnel, featured a day packed with awareness, cultural, and physical activities. The program aimed to develop participants' skills and enhance their knowledge in various fields.
The day's activities included morning and physical exercises that fostered a spirit of commitment and discipline among the participants, along with educational and interactive sessions designed to suit the target age groups.
In the area of public awareness and safety, the Palestinian Civil Defense team provided practical training on fire safety procedures and proper emergency response, contributing to raising the participants' level of preventative awareness.
Part of the program was also dedicated to a visit to Hisham's Palace, where participants learned about one of the most prominent historical landmarks in Palestine. This visit aimed to strengthen their connection to their cultural heritage and reinforce their national identity. The participants also attended an awareness lecture presented by the shooting range staff, covering safety concepts and the importance of adhering to instructions, thus promoting responsible behavior and a culture of prevention.
The camp continues its diverse programs aimed at developing the participants' personalities and equipping them with the knowledge and skills that contribute to building a conscious and responsible generation.
