GMTC continued to implement the activities of the fourth summer camp, "Martyrs of National Duty – Protecting a Homeland", through a diverse program that combines administrative, national, and cultural aspects, which contributes to developing the students' personalities and strengthening their national affiliation.
The students began their program by participating in a number of administrative tasks, with the aim of establishing the values of discipline, responsibility, and teamwork, before heading on a visit to the ancestral home, where they learned about the authentic Palestinian lifestyle and the social and heritage values it reflects that enhance the connection of generations to their history and identity.
The events also included a visit to Hisham's Palace in Jericho, during which the students were introduced to one of the most prominent historical and archaeological landmarks in Palestine, and listened to an explanation of its cultural importance and the ancient architectural and cultural heritage it embodies.
Today's program concluded with a lecture given by the Psychological Support Unit at the Institute in cooperation with Dr. Salam Al-Qurna, during which she addressed a number of awareness topics aimed at developing students' awareness and refining their knowledge, within the framework of the educational program adopted by the Authority within the camp's activities.
