GMTC Organizes Lectures Targeting Participants in Psychological Support Course

GMTC, in cooperation with the Treatment and Rehabilitation Center for Victims of Torture, organized a specialized lecture targeting participants in the Psychological Support Course. This course includes a number of personnel working in the field of psychological support across various security forces.
Ms. Manar Arar, Director of the Treatment and Rehabilitation Department, presented an explanation of the foundations of psychological support, the importance of mental health and its impact on overall productivity, and how to manage stress effectively.
Major Nasser Al-Aqra, Director of the Psychological Support Unit at GMTC, also spoke about listening skills and the art of formulating questions, in addition to the types and principles of psychological support.
The importance of this course stems from the current circumstances, which necessitate efforts to achieve balance and the ability to cope with stress in a way that ensures the safety and mental well-being of personnel.
