The Head of the GMTC of the Security Forces, Major General Mahmoud Haroun, received today His Excellency the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the State of Palestine, Mr. Ihab Suleiman. Major General Haroun welcomed the Ambassador and briefed him on the most important developments and the various training courses provided by GMTC to the security services employee . He also wished him continued success in his diplomatic missions, and praised the level of historical relations between the two countries and brotherly people, stressing the importance of the role of the Republic of Egypt in supporting the Palestinian cause and the rights of the Palestinian people.
For his part, Ambassador Suleiman expressed his happiness with this visit, stressing his country's firm position in supporting the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, most notably their right to establish their independent, fully sovereign state with Jerusalem as its capital.
