GMTC held a meeting with mufti's office of the Palestinian Security Forces/Ministry of Interior, where Staff Major General / Mahmoud Haroon met AL Sheikh Mohammed Salah, the Palestinian Security Forces mufti.
During the meeting, it was agreed to organize lectures and training programs for the courses held by GMTC, with the aim of promoting religious and national values among officers and individuals, and students of different courses. It was also agreed that another meeting would be held to arrange and discuss target groups and the mechanism for effective lecture delivery.
The two sides discussed the topics to be addressed in these programs, including "Security in Islam", "Extremism and Moderation", "Loyalty" and "Islamic Faith", in addition to the possibility of delivering Friday sermons within the training program of the basic courses.
For his part, staff major general / Mahmoud Haroon welcomed the idea and stressed on its importance in promoting religious and moral awareness among members of the security forces, pointing to this cooperation constitutes a qualitative step to deepen Islamic principles.
