As part of GMTC’s ongoing efforts to develop and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Palestinian security sector employees, and under the guidance of the head of GMTC Staff Major General /Mahmoud Harun, the first preparatory meeting was held today at CTI-Jericho to discuss preparations for the Third National Scientific Conference for Training in the Palestinian Security Sector.
Representatives of a number of partner institutions participated, attending of Al Najah National University, Palestine Technical University - Khodhouri, Faculty of Islamic Sciences, in addition to the University Smart College of Modern Education, and the Union of Social and Psychological Workers.
Where the conference's title and aspects were discussed, and the mechanism for the formation of conference’s committees to be held in early October 2025.
This conference complements GMTC’s approach to promoting scientific research and specialized training, with the aim of raising the level of professional and academic competence in Palestinian security institutions. This contributes to the development of the national security system on a strong scientific bases.
