GMTC graduated the "Customs Intelligence" that course carried out in cooperation with the Canadian Mission which lasted for four consecutive days with the participation of fourteen officers from the Customs Officer's Service.
The course aimed to enhance participants' efficiency in the areas of data analysis, process management and the use of information in a practical and actionable manner through simulated scenarios of the customs and security working environment.
Staff lieutenant Colonel / Faisal Erekat acting in behalf of Central Training Institute emphasized that this course comes in the context of an integrated development plan aimed at building the qualitative capacities of the customs officers, thereby enhancing their ability to carry out their field tasks efficiently.
This course is part of a series of training programmes carried out by GMTC in partnership with international institutions, with a view to developing the performance of Palestinian security services employees in various specializations and fields.
