The head of GMTC staff major general Mahmoud Haroun accompanied by the deputy head of GMTC Brigadier General / Bassam al-Jarbi, and a number of officers, made an official visit to the presidential headquarters where the delegation met with His Excellency President Mahmoud Abbas, Supreme Commander of the Security Forces. His Excellency handed over to the President the annual report of GMTC`s achievements for the year 2024.
During the meeting staff major general / Haroun reviewed the most prominent developments achieved in terms of training and qualification programs, pointing to modernizing curricula and expanding training areas in a way that enhances the efficiency of the Palestinian security forces. He also reviewed GMTC`s future plans, through which it aims to reach a high degree of quality and professionalism.
President Abbas praised GMTC`s efforts and its important role in preparing and developing security cadres stressing the importance of continuing professional work to enhance the readiness of the security institution, in order to provide security and safety for the Palestinian citizen. Wishing that GMTC and it`s leadership further success in performing its national tasks.
Staff major general / Haroun stressed that GMTC will continue to work to raise the quality of training and strengthen partnerships with relevant institutions which contributes to building a professional security system capable of facing challenges and preserving the law.
