Today, the head of GMTC Staff Major General Mahmoud Haroun, received the Spanish Ambassador to the State of Palestine, Mr. Jose Javier Gutierrez Blanco, and his accompanying delegation, at the headquarters of GMTC where prospects for joint cooperation were discussed and the nature of GMTC`s work and training programs were reviewed.
Staff Major General /Mahmoud Haroun welcomed the ambassador and the accompanying delegation, stressing the importance of strengthening bridges of communication and partnership with international bodies and institutions, in a way that allows the exchange of experiences and knowledge, and contributes to supporting and developing the training system and raising the efficiency of security personnel.
During the meeting, the Spanish delegation was briefed on the tasks of GMTC and its role in preparing and qualifying members of the security institution, and listened to an explanation about the training and specialized programs implemented by GMTC and the methodologies adopted in building skills and developing professional competencies.
The visit also included a tour of GMTC`s facilities, during which the delegation learned about the training capabilities and equipment, and the programs implemented by GMTC within the framework of its vision aimed at developing the training system and keeping pace with the requirements of modern security work.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation, open new areas of partnership and exchange experiences, in a way that serves capacity building efforts and develops training work.
At the conclusion of the visit, the two sides stressed the importance of continuing communication and enhancing joint cooperation, which opens broader horizons for partnership and contributes to achieving goals of common interest
